Signs

A beauty salon in Kilkenny had City Canvas paint their shop's frame and signs.  We sanded off the previous colour (blue), and applied 3 layers of the shade of pink that the client chose. We also hand-painted the shop front's signage using fonts that matched their existing neon signs inside the shop (see through the glass, in picture).

City Canvas hand-painted this tattoo studio's shop front, located in a prominent spot in the centre of Temple Bar, Dublin. We opted for a somewhat ornate font and gold colour, matching the studio's furniture.

A laundry-dry cleaning business had City Canvas produce its shop front signs, as well as remove illegal graffiti from its metal shutter.  As a result, the shop now stands-out. Previously, the launderette had sticker signs that peeled off and quickly looked tacky - with hand-painted signs, this will not happen as the signs age... rather, they will start to very slowly and homogeneously fade giving them a vintage look.

A hair salon based in Dublin commissioned City Canvas to paint over ugly graffiti that had accumulated on their metal shutter, while also painting a new sign above the shop front. The design linked the sign to the metal shutter's design, creating an impactful shop front.

A furniture shop based on Francis street mandated City Canvas to design a Clockwork Orange-themed shop front, combining both signs and shutters. We opted for a minimalist design drawing the eye to small details within the design.

A coffee shop in Dublin city centre tasked City Canvas to paint signs onto their shop front - two of their logos and additional information ("Est. 1996" and "Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch").
